Abstract

Program ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan budaya Jepang kepada siswa sekolah dasar melalui cerita rakyat Momotaro, dengan harapan dapat menanamkan nilai-nilai moral universal seperti keberanian, kerja sama, dan keadilan. Pelaksanaan kegiatan diawali dengan sesi pengantar berupa penyampaian materi mengenai cerita rakyat Jepang secara umum, diikuti dengan penjelasan mendalam mengenai kisah Momotaro. Penyampaian ini menggunakan pendekatan audio-visual, salah satunya melalui pemutaran animasi Momotaro untuk memberikan gambaran yang lebih jelas dan menarik bagi siswa. Tahapan berikutnya melibatkan diskusi interaktif untuk mengidentifikasi nilai-nilai moral yang terkandung dalam cerita serta relevansinya dengan kehidupan sehari-hari. Kegiatan pendukung lainnya adalah lokakarya seni, di mana siswa diajak membuat ilustrasi dan kerajinan tangan yang menggambarkan tokoh-tokoh dalam cerita Momotaro. Lokakarya ini bertujuan untuk menumbuhkan kreativitas siswa sekaligus memperkuat pemahaman mereka terhadap budaya Jepang. Sebagai penutup, siswa diberikan kesempatan untuk mempraktikkan hasil pembelajaran melalui pementasan drama sederhana yang mengadaptasi cerita Momotaro. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan ini berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap budaya Jepang sekaligus menumbuhkan apresiasi terhadap keberagaman budaya dunia. Partisipasi aktif dan antusiasme siswa mencerminkan keberhasilan metode pembelajaran interaktif yang digunakan. Program ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi positif dalam membangun karakter siswa melalui pengenalan nilai-nilai budaya asing.
