Abstract

Autisme merupakan gangguan perkembangan neurobiologis yang memengaruhi interaksi sosial, komunikasi, dan perilaku seseorang sejak usia dini. Speech Generating Devices (SGD) sebagai solusi efektif, seiring dengan kemajuan teknologi, pendekatan Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) telah dikembangkan untuk membantu individu dengan gangguan komunikasi. Tujuan kegiatan untuk meningkatkan kopentensi guru dalam mengatasi masalah komunikasi pada anak autis dengan AAC. Metode kegiatan dengan cara sosialisi materi berkaitan SGD dan AAC. Hasil sosialisasi yang dilakukan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan SGD untuk mengatasi masalah komunikasi, sosialisasi ini sebagai dasar awalan untuk selajutnya perlu persiapan alat dan latihan cara penggunaan AAC.
