Edukasi Terapi Infrared dalam Rehabilitasi Medik: Observasi Klinis Mahasiswa Kedokteran di Empat Rumah Sakit Mitra

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan pemahaman mahasiswa Fakultas Kedokteran terhadap prinsip kerja, indikasi, kontraindikasi, dan prosedur terapi infrared sebagai modalitas rehabilitasi medik nonfarmakologis, sekaligus memperkuat keterampilan observasi klinis dan kolaborasi interprofesional. Kegiatan dilaksanakan menggunakan desain observational-based educational intervention dengan pendekatan one-group post-test evaluation, melibatkan 44 mahasiswa mata kuliah pilihan Kedokteran Komplementer di 4 rumah sakit mitra. Rangkaian kegiatan mencakup pembekalan teori di kelas, diskusi interaktif, dan observasi langsung penggunaan terapi infrared di unit rehabilitasi medik yang difasilitasi oleh fisioterapis penanggung jawab. Evaluasi dilakukan menggunakan post-test terstruktur yang mengukur pemahaman mahasiswa pada aspek tata laksana, indikasi, kontraindikasi, dan keselamatan pasien. Hasil menunjukkan seluruh peserta mencapai tingkat pemahaman baik dengan rentang skor 80–90. Pendekatan edukasi berbasis observasi klinis terbukti efektif mengintegrasikan teori dengan praktik, meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis, dan memperluas wawasan kolaborasi interprofesional mahasiswa kedokteran.
