Contemporary aviation safety extends beyond technological advancement and procedural compliance, emphasizing the critical role of human interaction within increasingly complex operational systems. Nevertheless, the understanding of Human Factors among Indonesia's aviation community remains predominantly centered on individual error, highlighting the need for educational initiatives that promote a systems-based safety perspective. This community service program aimed to enhance Human Factors literacy and foster a shared understanding of systemic aviation safety through a cross-sector discussion forum. The program employed a participatory educational approach delivered in a hybrid format, integrating expert presentations, case-based discussions, interactive dialogue, and reflective learning. Participants represented diverse stakeholders, including aviation students, industry practitioners, academics, regulators, professional associations, and members of the broader aviation community. The implementation of the program demonstrated strong participant engagement and facilitated meaningful interdisciplinary dialogue, enabling participants to recognize aviation safety as the outcome of dynamic interactions among human capabilities, technology, organizational processes, and operational environments. The program contributed to strengthening Human Factors literacy, promoting collective safety awareness, and supporting the development of a more systemic and sustainable safety culture within Indonesia's aviation sector.
