Sosialisasi Pencegahan Penyakit Berbasis Vektor melalui Penerapan Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat (PHBS) pada Kelompok PKK Desa Patoman, Kecamatan Pagelaran

Penyakit berbasis vektor, terutama Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD), masih menjadi permasalahan kesehatan yang memerlukan keterlibatan masyarakat dalam pengendalian lingkungan. Kondisi rumah tangga, seperti wadah penampungan air, genangan, saluran air yang tidak lancar, dan barang yang dapat menampung air, berpotensi menyediakan tempat perkembangbiakan nyamuk. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan memberikan edukasi mengenai pencegahan penyakit berbasis vektor melalui penerapan Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat (PHBS) kepada kelompok PKK RT 2 RW 2 Desa Patoman, Kecamatan Pagelaran, Kabupaten Pringsewu. Kegiatan diikuti oleh 20 peserta dan dilaksanakan menggunakan pendekatan edukatif-partisipatif melalui identifikasi kebutuhan mitra, penyusunan materi dan leaflet, sosialisasi, diskusi, serta tanya jawab. Materi mencakup penyakit berbasis vektor, karakteristik nyamuk penular dengue, tempat potensial perkembangbiakan nyamuk, Pemberantasan Sarang Nyamuk melalui 3M Plus, dan peran keluarga dalam menjaga kebersihan lingkungan. Evaluasi kegiatan dilakukan secara deskriptif melalui observasi terhadap proses pelaksanaan dan keterlibatan peserta selama kegiatan. Peserta berpartisipasi dalam diskusi dengan menyampaikan pengalaman mengenai keberadaan nyamuk, wadah penampungan air, kondisi lingkungan rumah, serta menanggapi langkah pengendalian yang disampaikan. Luaran kegiatan berupa satu leaflet edukasi yang dibagikan kepada peserta dan file digital yang dapat digunakan kembali sebagai media informasi. Kegiatan ini menunjukkan terlaksananya proses edukasi dan adanya keterlibatan peserta selama sosialisasi.
