Abstract

Diabetes Melitus (DM) menjadi salah satu penyakit tidak menular yang memerlukan upaya pencegahan dan pengendalian melalui peningkatan pengetahuan serta penerapan pola hidup sehat di masyarakat. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat mengenai pencegahan dan pengendalian DM melalui program SIJALOK-DM PULIH (Selingan Singkong dan Jagung Lokal untuk Diabetes Melitus Puliharjo). Kegiatan ini bagian dari pelaksanaan KKN Universitas Jenderal Soedirman Tahun 2026 di Desa Puliharjo, Kecamatan Puring, Kabupaten Kebumen, yang dilaksanakan pada 5 Agustus 2026 dengan melibatkan 30 warga. Kegiatan meliputi edukasi DM, pemberian media KDMP (Kipas Anti Diabetes Melitus Puliharjo), demonstrasi pembuatan makanan selingan berbahan pangan lokal, serta evaluasi pengetahuan menggunakan pre-test dan post-test. Data dianalisis secara univariat dan bivariat. Uji normalitas menggunakan Shapiro-Wilk, sedangkan perbedaan skor pengetahuan dianalisis menggunakan Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Hasil menunjukkan adanya perbedaan skor pengetahuan sebelum dan sesudah kegiatan secara signifikan. Penerapan edukasi, media kesehatan, dan pendekatan pangan lokal berpotensi mendukung upaya promotif dan preventif DM di masyarakat.
