Edukasi Fisioterapi Geriatri pada Pasien Cervical Spondylosis di Puskesmas Rampal Celaket Malang

Cervical Spondylosis adalah penyakit degeneratif yang umumnya berkembang akibat gangguan pada ligamen dan sendi facet. Perubahan degeneratif berkembang secara perlahan dan sering dialami oleh >85% orang yang berusia di atas 60 tahun. Prevalensi Cervical Spondylosis di India terjadi sebanyak 10 juta orang setiap tahunnya. Hal ini mengakibatkan para lansia mengalami keterbatasan ruang gerak sendi leher dan gangguan fungsional yang dapat menurunkan kualitas hidupnya. Cervical Spondylosis sering kali menyerang segmen C5-C6 dan C6-C7 pada tulang belakang leher. Mempertahankan postur leher yang buruk dalam jangka waktu lama dapat meningkatkan beban pada tulang belakang leher dan mempercepat timbulnya ketegangan kronis. Pasien spondylosis memerlukan layanan medis yang tepat dan benar. Salah satu layanan kesehatan yang dapat diberikan kepada pasien spondylosis adalah layanan fisioterapi. Memberikan edukasi berupa latihan fisioterapi dengan stretching leher pada pasien cervical spondylosis di Puskesmas Rampal Celaket Malang. Pemberian penyuluhan terkait dengan cervical spondylosis menggunakan media poster. Kegiatan penyuluhan mampu meningkatkan pengetahuan para lansia di Puskesmas Rampal Celaket.
