Edukasi Mencuci Tangan dengan Metode Storytelling pada Anak Usia Pra-Sekolah Di Kota Tondano, Kabupaten Minahasa

Kebersihan tangan merupakan salah satu elemen terpenting dalam pengendalian infeksi yang telah terbukti secara signifikan mengurangi risiko penularan silang infeksi di fasilitas kesehatan, rumah, dan sekolah. Pengabdian Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi mencuci tangan pada Anak Usia Pra-Sekolah dengan metode story telling menggunakan media boneka. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah story telling tentang mencuci tangan 6 langkah menggunakan media boneka. Yang menjadi target sasaran adalah murid TK di Kota Tondano, berjumlah 16 orang. Kegiatan dilakukan selama 5 hari. Diawali dengan persiapan alat/bahan/media promosi dan standar prosedur operasional story telling menggunakan media boneka dan persiapan fasilitas mencuci tangan. Selanjutnya, permohonan ijin, survei lokasi, penjelasan maksud dan tujuan, dan observasi perilaku mencuci tangan murid, dan kontrak waktu pelaksanaan. Selanjutnya pada tahap kerja, diawali dengan perkenalan, pemberian materi tentang mencuci tangan menggunakan boneka, simulasi cara mencuci tangan 6 langkah, dan diakhiri dengan praktik mencuci tangan oleh murid. Tahap akhir adalah evaluasi perilaku mencuci tangan 6 langkah dan rencana tindak lanjut. Edukasi mencuci tangan menggunakan metode story telling dengan media boneka memiliki hasil positif peningkatan perilaku mencuci tangan 6 langkah yang benar; oleh karena itu, storytelling menggunakan boneka dapat menjadi alat pendidikan untuk mengubah perilaku anak-anak pra-sekolah.
